Nearly 100 runners strode across the finish line for the 4th Annual Indian Lake Running Club Fun Run!
It was a beautiful evening to run with perfect temperatures and conditions.
In the 1-mile race, the overall winner was Cason Lacher and runner-up was Braden Tussing. Top female was Eliza Wells and Laura Metzger was runner-up.
In the Half-mile race, Ivy Kaser was the overall winner and Nikki Bihn was runner-up. Top male was Ross Tidwell and Tyler Ferguson was runner-up.
Well done to all the running club runners, as well as the ILHS and ILMS Cross Country team members who helped them during club practices and the race!

Running ClubRunning Club
They just felt like they joined the Indian Lake Running Club!! More than 100 Indian Lake first through fifth graders are part of the club this year. They are spending practices outside learning exercises, calisthenics and of course, running. ILMS and ILHS Cross Country runners and coaches lead the races and games.
ILMS Cross Country Coach Amy Richardson says "We really try to encourage the idea that running is fun! Many times kids see it as a punishment, but we want them to enjoy running."
