Indian Lake High School (the building) will turn 50 years old this winter! The original facility was completed in late 1968. Students moved in over Christmas break and began classes in January 1969. It's a milestone we'd love to celebrate with our community! We are hosting a Senior Citizens Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, January 18th at 9 am at ILHS. All friends of ILHS are welcome, but we hope to get many members of the Class of 1969 (first class to graduate from the new ILHS) and the Class of 1970 (first class to spend a whole year in the building). We also invite any staff members from the era to join us. Please help spread the word to your classmates and RSVP to 686-8601 or stanleyp@ils-k12.org by January 17th.
This event celebrates 50 Years of ILHS, but is separate from the concert event at ILHS hosted by the Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce in March.

Hope to see lots of Lakers there!
